I am a specialised Advanced Midwife. In 2014 I completed my undergraduate diploma in nursing (General, Psychiatric, community) and midwifery at the Western cape college of Nursing in Cape Town. I then furthered my studies with a postgraduate diploma in Advanced Midwifery & neonatal nursing science at the University of Stellenbosch in 2018. As part of my training, I worked at Groote Schuur Hospital, Red X Hospital, Mowbray Maternity Hospital and a few primary health care facilities.
I completed a 1-year community service in 2015 at Retreat Midwife obstetric unit (MOU) where I worked for 8 years until February 2023. I have delivered many babies, attended to maternal and neonatal emergencies and gained a wealth of knowledge while working at Retreat MOU. I have now ventured out and I am excited to have opened my private practice in 2023. I am passionate about all thing's mom & baby, with my skills set I aim to support, empower and see happy, confident and thriving parents and babies.
